Dear Daniel
I am writing to thank you most sincerely for the wonderful service provided by you and your colleagues following our Mother’s death recently. Right from the very start we felt that we were in safe hands.
When we visited Lyons to arrange the funeral it was clear that your company was both highly experienced and professional. The approach was first class and most sympathetic to our wishes and needs.
We received a courtesy call just before the day and therefore we were reassured that everything was ready and indeed the day went very smoothly. We could not have wished for a better service and would recommend Lyons unreservedly to anyone.
Thanks to you personally for all your kind assistance
Yours sincerely

Dear Daniel
I just wanted to say how impressed I was with your team at Lyons funeral services. You showed the utmost respect at all times, but with a relaxed and approachable manner, which made me feel comfortable and totally at ease.
From the moment my sister M. and I met you we had complete confidence in you and you made us feel that nothing was too much trouble from the first day of arranging the funeral, to your very pleasant chauffeur who took us to the crematorium, your choice of Russell Fisk to conduct the service (who was also excellent) and at the end when you waited to make sure everyone had a lift – it was excellent service and totally professional throughout. It all helped to make the day that little bit easier to deal with.
Our family has used your company for many, many years and will be happy to do so in the future.
With grateful thanks
J and her family

Dear Mrs Laming
I write to thank you for the services provide by yourselves in connection of the funeral of my late mother.
In particular, I should like to thank Daniel John for his sensitivity and care and for the reassurances given to my brothers whilst carrying our mother into the crematorium.
What was indeed a difficult time for us all was made much easier with the knowledge that we were in the hands of such caring and professional people
Yours sincerely

Dear Mr Johnstone
I would like to thank you, on behalf of the family, for the excellent way that both you and your colleagues handled my mother’s funeral on Monday. At this sad time it was nice to see that everything went without a hitch, which is a tribute to your professionalism and caring attitude. We were particularly impressed with the bearing and reverence of all concerned from your company for which we remain very grateful
Yours sincerely
R. P.

Dear Mr Johnstone
On behalf of my family, I would like to thank you for managing my mother’s funeral arrangements. Please pass on our thanks to the members of staff who attended the funeral and carried out their duties both professionally and efficiently. Your compassion and help during this difficult time was gratefully appreciated.
Yours sincerely
A. R.

Dear Mrs Muriel Laming
Peter Broadhurst showed more compassion than nearly all the carers in the care home. Peter was very organised, very professional, caring and a softly spoken individual, leaving his private mobile number, so as to be contacted at any time. Everything in his hands progressed smoothly and efficiently and he expressed empathy in his manner of dealing with the family, throughout and after the service he has been an exemplary example to the company. He made us feel relaxed in a very stressful situation in which to some people may just become an everyday job. Because of Peter I can highly recommend your company.
Kind regards
S. P.

Dear Peter
We wanted to thank you once again for all that you have done for us with regard to our father’s funeral. You have treated us with great dignity and with a very professional manner. This has been greatly appreciated by both of us. Your suggestion of the minister was a perfect one. He conducted the service extremely well and concentrated on the celebratory aspects of dad’s life and not the grief of the moment.
You have assured the grief and confusion caused by dad’s sudden death has not been compounded by angst and concern over the arrangements for his funeral. We expect you are aware of how important this is to a family at such a time but wanted to express this all the same.
Yours sincerely
M. A.

Dear Peter
Thank you for being so kind and thoughtful right from the start, when you came to the house and throughout all the arrangements of the funeral.
You could not have been more considerate and helpful in every way. I was very grateful indeed and you made life so much easier.
With very many thanks
A. W.

Dear Peter
We can’t thank you enough for the way you looked after our beautiful daughter and our grandson.
You are such a caring and thoughtful person, you took care of everything from before and on the day of their funeral.
You always made me feel welcome when we came to visit them both.
Thank you once again for this very difficult time in our lives
Best wishes
