During the funeral service it is usual to have some form of music. For those who wish to have Hymns sung we will organise an organist either at a church or at the Crematorium. We recommend always having an organist for hymns as singing along to pre-recorded music is very difficult and often proves unsuccessful.
Many people choose to have pre-recorded music these days. Several Crematoria use a system whereby the music is downloaded in advance from the internet. If you can tell your Funeral Director the name of the song and the artist we will almost always be able to organise it for you. In some cases you may wish to bring in your own CDs which is usually fine but very occasionally home-made CDs fail to play on the day.
Sometimes people like some form of live music (other than the organist) for the service which we also can organise for you.
