Bringing your loved one into our care

You can contact us 24 hours a day, every single day of the year. We will ask where you would like the deceased to rest before the funeral. This would normally be at our premises in either Whitstable or Canterbury but can be at your home at some point before or on the day of the funeral. If you choose to bring someone back to your home, we recommend that you allow us to bring the deceased into our care temporarily and return them after all the necessary preparations have been made.

You can meet us at our Premises between 8am and 5pm Monday to Friday or between 8am and 12pm on Saturdays or arrange for one of our funeral Directors to visit you at your home. When you meet the Funeral Director, they will be able to advise you on what to do next, take care of all the necessary funeral arrangements and explain, in detail, the procedure for registering the death.

If someone dies away from home

When death takes place some distance away from home, contact us and we can make all the necessary arrangements. If death occurs within the UK but away from home it may be necessary to arrange for the deceased to remain close to the place of death for a short while to allow the local Doctors to complete their paperwork before we can bring them back to our premises. Our Funeral Directors will also provide help and advice and can assist with arranging repatriation to and from anywhere in the world.
